![]() ![]() As it takes a few seconds to lift the cursor, the cursor freezes for a while. To reposition the mouse when it reaches the edge of your mouse pad, you have to lift your mouse. This happens mostly to gamers when they reposition their mouse while gaming. Most non-gamers do not experience lift-off distance. Therefore, LOD is the distance between the mouse and the mouse pad to a point where we can’t control the cursor. It is the distance at which the mouse sensor should be lifted for the mouse to stop working. It is also known as the LOD of the mouse. Any ideas? If you're got a solution for the 2013 version I'm sure it would work for the chroma as well as it uses the same optical sensor. The Lift Off Distance is very simple to understand. I want to be able to tweak the liftoff range so that I can get just as little as a couple millimeters more of accurate sampling before the mouse sampling cuts out, but the slider in the synapse software seems to have absolutely zero effect on this. Basically the liftoff distance for the original and 3.5 seem pretty much identical, whereas the chroma has almost zero liftoff distance - I notice this ingame when at the more extreme ranges of movement, my finger tips will actually prop up the mouse slightly and with the chroma this is enough to cut out the sampling entirely making the mouse movement cut out. The chroma is basically the same hardware (same sensor despite razer's 10k dpi fib) as the 2013, but with the fancy lights.Īnyway, I've got my original and 3.5 black plugged in concurrently and I've been going back and forth trying to iron out the problem. I've been using deathadders since the original, been using a black edition (3.5g) for the last few years, and finally decided to shell out for a new one. ![]() It's a great mouse aside from the fact that the liftoff range slider in the synapse software doesn't seem to be working. Hey guys, I'm at my wit's end here, close to returning the Deathadder Chroma I just bought. You can do so by simply clicking flair under your link!
